General Bass Specs

Players consistently remark on the tone of my basses (see the comments section), which I attribute to solid neck-through construction, not using epoxy under my frets (as many large manufacturers do), and to chosing good hardwoods for the fretboard, neck, and body.

My 4,5,and 6 string basses come with 2 Bartolini thin passive soapbars standard (see HARDWARE page).

Standard controls are traditional passive Volumes and Tone. (Active pickups and preamp/EQ tone circuits are avaiable upon request at additional cost).

Your choice of Black, Chrome, or Gold colored hardware.

My standard string spacings are as follows:

4 string: neck is 1 5/8" wide at the nut; string spacing 2 1/4" at bridge

5 string: neck is 1 13/16" wide at the nut; string spacing 2 13/16" at bridge

6 string: neck is 2 1/32" wide at the nut; 3 7/16" string spacing at bridge

if you want a different string spacing or neck width, please let me know, and we will select an optional bridge that fits your needs.

Scale Length ( nut to saddle distance) is 34" standard for 4 stirng basses, 35" for all others. ( If you want another scale let me know)

All basses come with wooden "wrap-around" style control cavity covers and wooden trussrod plates. The Headstock is fronted with the same type wood as the body front.
