*** A note about Buckeye Burls:
Buckeye Burl develops it's blue-gray coloration when a fungal growth invades a piece of wood. By its nature, it is soft and porous and will thus tend to cut high frequencies in the tonal spectrum. So I STRONGLY recommend it be used with a Visible Neck Thru construction ( not a "hidden neck thru" top) to minimize the tonal effects . Buckeye Burl will also be more easily scratched and dented because of this softness.
